After 5 years of enjoying their first Life Floor installation, Westfield Memorial Pool Complex decided to redesign their splash pad to create a centerpiece attraction for their state-of-the-art facility. The city’s main objectives were to refresh the space as a way to drive membership sign-ups and to create a beautiful environment where families could share photogenic memories on social media.
Through collaboration with the Life Floor Studio, the splash pad design features a vibrant, unique octopus motif with tentacles that serve as pathways for kids to follow through spray features and into the zero-depth leisure pool.

A STORY OF TRANSFORMATION
In 2014, Westfield, New Jersey wanted to upgrade the splash pad at the Westfield Memorial Pool Complex. They also wanted to preserve the existing floor design which had been created and chosen by members of the community.
Life Floor was able to replicate the existing design by developing new colors to match. After five years of well-loved use, this install was refreshed in May 2019.
