Carnival’s Celebration Key

Carnival Cruise Line's new private island, Celebration Key, is designed as a vibrant oasis that brings the brand's signature sense of fun to life. To create a guest experience that's equal parts playful and safe, Carnival partnered with WhiteWater, Martin Aquatic Design & Engineering, and Blue Mar Basins, marking Life Floor's debut collaboration with the innovative Blue Mar Basins system. The result? A bright, tropical environment that immerses guests in color, creativity, and comfort from the moment they step into the water.

Across more than 6,000 square feet, Life Floor surfacing enhances three distinct aquatic zones: a splash pad, a zero-depth entry area, and Blue Mar Basins' underwater shelves. This installation showcases how Life Floor performs both above and below the surface, delivering consistent slip resistance, cushioning, and color vibrancy even when fully submerged.

Vibrant blues and colorful pops of neon accents reflect Carnival's iconic brand palette. The surfacing complements the island's aesthetic, providing a softer, safer foundation that mimics the movement and flow of water. Life Floor brings play to the forefront through creative surfacing elements; maze pathways encourage exploration; hopscotch patterns invite interactive fun; and custom Inlays spark curiosity with search-and-find moments woven into the design.

With its curving contours, integrated play zones, and durable, marine-ready performance, Celebration Key demonstrates the versatility and artistry of Life Floor in large-scale themed environments.
