Lake Mohegan Splash Pad in Fairfield, Connecticut, underwent a complete surface transformation in November 2024. The aging brushed concrete floor was replaced with Life Floor's aquatic safety surfacing. This installation spans nearly 2,400 square feet and features a curated palette of water-inspired colors from our Lagoon Theme in our Ripple texture, creating an immersive aquatic environment that complements the nearby lakeshore.
The upgrade addressed a significant safety concern: the previous brushed concrete surface was causing slips and injuries among guests. Life Floor's non-slip, cushioned tile system eliminated these hazards, providing families with peace of mind and allowing children the freedom to play safely.

The Town of Fairfield specified Life Floor primarily for its non-slip resistance and cushioning, features that directly addressed the injuries guests had experienced on the previous brushed concrete surface.
How has the community responded?
The reception has been overwhelmingly positive. The Town shared the project on social media and was flooded with excited comments from residents celebrating the upgrade.
