As part of its commitment to creating memorable guest environments, SeaWorld San Diego's splash pad provides a colorful, refreshing play space where families can cool off, explore, and enjoy time together.
For this 3,000-square-foot splash pad, Life Floor Studio designed a water-inspired surface using a vibrant palette of Bluebird, Ocean, and Seafoam. The flowing blue tones create a clean, coastal aesthetic that complements the park's marine theme while helping define the splash pad as an inviting destination for guests of all ages.
Life Floor's Ripple texture was selected to support slip resistance in wet conditions, while the 3/8" cushioned tiles add comfort underfoot for children and families moving through the splash pad. The modular tile system also provides long-term operational advantages, allowing individual tiles to be replaced as needed without disrupting the entire surface.
Installed by Life Floor Registered Aquatic Partner Baynum Amusement Solutions, the finished splash pad reflects the balance of safety, design, and durability needed for a high-traffic destination like SeaWorld San Diego.
