Located in Toowoomba, Queensland, the Baillie Henderson Hospital Campus aquatic center serves as a key community facility featuring a large indoor pool, deck, and changing areas. The original red sheet vinyl surfacing created ongoing slip-and-fall concerns, prompting the facility to seek a safer, more reliable solution.
Life Floor was selected to replace the existing surface, introducing enhanced slip-resistance and cushioned comfort underfoot. The updated design incorporates calming blue tones that elevate the overall aesthetic and create a more welcoming, therapeutic environment for guests.
To ensure a seamless and accessible transition between surfaces, 10 mm transition strips were installed along the perimeter of the Life Floor tiles. These strips help reduce tripping hazards while supporting ADA-compliant transitions throughout the space.
