We're honored to celebrate two 2026 Leading Edge Awards from the World Waterpark Association (WWA) recognizing our contributions to two extraordinary aquatic destinations: Aquarabia Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia and Sun World Vung Tau in Vietnam!
Presented during the 2026 WWA Symposium & Trade Show in Las Vegas, these awards recognize innovation, creativity, and excellence across the global waterpark industry.
From the immersive, landscape-inspired environments of Aquarabia to the record-breaking attractions at Sun World Vung Tau, both projects demonstrate what's possible when innovative design, safety, and collaboration come together.

Aquarabia Qiddiya City | Saudi Arabia
As the Middle East's largest water theme park, Aquarabia Qiddiya City is redefining aquatic entertainment on an extraordinary scale. Spanning 25 hectares, this world-class destination features 22 rides and experiences across eight immersive themed worlds, including four world-record attractions.
For Life Floor, Aquarabia represents one of our most ambitious and customized aquatic surfacing projects to date. Inspired by Saudi Arabia's natural landscapes, Life Floor's design incorporates intricate, custom-cut rock formations and native plant motifs throughout the aquatic spaces. An earthy palette of Evergreen, Olive, Foghorn, and Sandbar helps the surfacing blend seamlessly into the park's surrounding environment, transforming traditional wet decks into an extension of the destination's immersive storytelling.
Beyond its visual impact, Life Floor's cushioned, slip-resistant surfacing provides a more comfortable experience for guests navigating wet areas throughout the park. Our NSF/ANSI/CAN 50-certified aquatic safety surfacing offers enhanced traction and impact protection compared to traditional hard surfaces, while specialized Landing Pads provide additional cushioning and slip resistance at waterslide exits.
This remarkable project reflects years of planning, detailed customization, and collaboration across international teams. We're proud to have worked alongside WhiteWater, Water Technology, Inc. (WTI), Falcon's Creative Group, Endless Surf, Sub Sea Systems, and ARSA, our installation partner in Saudi Arabia.
From early design concepts to final installation, Aquarabia shows how safety surfacing can become an integral part of an unforgettable aquatic experience.
Sun World Vung Tau | Vietnam
Located along Vietnam's beautiful southern coastline, Sun World Vung Tau brings a new level of aquatic adventure to the beachfront Blanca City development.
The park's expansive Aqua Adventure zone spans 15 hectares and features nearly 100 waterslides, 20 major attractions, and two world records. From exhilarating high-speed slides to interactive family play areas, this destination offers something for thrill-seekers and families alike.
While the park's towering attractions draw attention, Life Floor plays a key role at the bottom of the slides, where safety and guest comfort are essential.
For this project, Life Floor supplied approximately 1,000 square feet of specialized Landing Pads, engineered to provide enhanced cushioning and slip resistance at waterslide exits. At 7/8-inch thick, these pads are more than twice as thick as our standard aquatic safety tiles, providing added impact protection in high-use landing areas.
Designed for the unique demands of waterslide exits, the Landing Pads feature a bolt-free installation system and customizable beveled edges for a secure, seamless transition between surfaces. Their slip-resistant performance, even when submerged, helps make these high-traffic aquatic environments safer and more comfortable for guests.
This project highlights how thoughtful surfacing solutions can make a meaningful difference, even in the smallest areas of a large-scale aquatic destination.
