This activity pool at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Tyler, Texas features 6,800 sq ft (632 m²) of Life Floor in a standard 3-color Surf Theme square pattern. Hues of turquoise are interspersed throughout the amenity as the dominant color accented by yellows, reds, and browns to match the campground’s overarching brand colors and aesthetic.
Activity pools allow for a wide range of play styles. Parents and guardians often sit in the shallow water with small children while older children sit and wait under large dump buckets. These activities would otherwise be uncomfortable with traditional hard and abrasive surfaces like plaster or coated concrete. Life Floor’s cushioned surfaces provide a soft play surface for continuous enjoyment of all guests.
The aquatic play structure and pool floor use InterActive Play features that promote social engagement. From friendly water battles to collaborative play opportunities that produce thrilling water effects, interactive elements create opportunities for connection and shared experiences. Engineered with kid-friendly technology, such as light-up bars indicating a feature’s “charging status,” buttons, pull ropes, touch sensors, and more, these features captivate guests longer than conventional open water flow designs.
